Pernod-Ricard Malaysia as part of a global brand is committed to CSR initiatives. In 2015, PRM launched an initiative with a special focus on environmental impact and community development through the use of "upcycled" empty bottles into special "Brightboxes". These "Brightboxes" are made from recycled PRM-distributed bottles fitted with solar-rechargeable LED lights.
In order to create awareness and highlight the plight of those living without electric lights, the client wanted a website to showcase their events leading up to the main event, the artists who contributed to one-of-a-kind Brightboxes and the key opinion leaders who lent their voices to advocate the cause. Public involvement should be encouraged through the donation of used bottles.
We built them a HTML5 responsive website that highlighted all the events, unique bottles and key opinion leaders using a custom-built image gallery. In addition to this, we also implemented custom parallax background images for the website. We also included dangling animation for the bottles and scrolling animation using jQuery to highlight key aspects of the project. For the public to donate bottles, we integrated a custom Google Map to highlight the participating PRM outlets that accepted used bottle donations.
